Hello everyone,

As mentioned before by some of you, the old forum hasn't been working for over a month now. As the forum was a place where many of you were active, I decided that the old forum had to be fixed, or a new one created.

I tried to fix the old forum, first took a look in the index.php file. Nothing looked strange, until I found that there were about a 1000 href html links to a website called torontocranks.com It's just some cycling website. After removing the links, and trying again, still a white page. No success. So then I took a look in the config.php, to see if some strange changes have been made lately. Unfortunately, I found nothing

Then I downloaded the newest phpBB from phpbb.com, and installed it. Some strange server setting, made all links rewrite to flatwater.info/news/skins/sys.phtml....installation succeeded, but accessing & posting at the forum was not able..due to that strange server setting.

As a last option, I decided to download a component that I could integrate into the Joomla core of the marathon website. No installation needed, just upload it, and it works. That also means, no strange links, and thát means, that the forum has to work

A new forum is finally working now. I am sorry for the loss of the old topics, post, users etc. Can't do anything about it.

You can post as a guest at this forum, but you can also register an account (just under the ad, at the left). Please fill in a working e-mailaddress, otherwise your account will not work.

You can also upload photo's to the gallery, you can upload files up to 10MB into the forum, as an attachment, and you can send in useful weblinks, and that all with the same account;)
